Here, we will review this laptop taking into consideration various parameters including design, battery life, performance, known issues, speed, etc. So, let’s get the ball rolling now.

Design

HP Pavilion x360 has a matte finish at the lid which gives it a clean and classy look. In the middle, you will find an HP logo with chrome finish on it. There are two USB 3.0 connection, one HDMI port, and a USB Type C port. However, you can also use USB Type-C for data transfer. This port cannot be used for charging the laptops. Also, as you know, HP Pavilion x360 is a convertible laptop. You can fold the lid by 360 degrees to convert it to a tablet. It provides a full-sized keyboard but reduced the size of the touchpad to accommodate the speakers. In terms of design, HP Pavilion x360 is worth the price.

Display

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop comes with 14 inches 1920×1080 Full HD Display. The brightness looks promising in low light or indoor. However, if you take the laptop outside, it is somewhat hard to view the content. In terms of resolution and color, this laptop looks promising. The content appears sharp and clear.

Compact

Being 14 Inches in size, HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop is fairly compact and easy to handle. If you look at it as a laptop, then it feels pretty lightweight. I believe 1.7 Kg for a laptop is not too heavy. However, if you talk about the compactness of HP Pavilion x360 as a tablet, then it feels slight overweight and tough to carry around using a single hand. Overall, the laptop is very portable and you can easily roam around carrying it.

Performance

Performance is one of the key factors all of you should consider whenever purchasing any electronic device. The design and looks will not last long. Technology is improving at a very fast pace. The design that looks innovative today may become deprecated a year after. The design may not appeal or excite you after a month or so. However, performance is an attribute that you will always want to stay at the top. Ever worked on a slow laptop? If yes, you know the feeling right. It is no less than a nightmare working in on a slow laptop. The HP Pavilion x360 offers decent performance. The 4GB RAM is enough for children or those who want a laptop for general purpose. However, if you are looking for a laptop for gaming or for some development work, then I am afraid you should not go for this one. If you are some sort of web developer or application developer, or you want to spend most of your time playing games, then this one is not for you. Most of the users are not satisfied by the performance of HP Pavilion x360 convertible laptop. Some of them has also reported facing grinding sounds from the hard drive assuming the hard drive is defective.

Conclusion

So, if design and style are your priority and you want to use a laptop for general day to day work involving Microsoft Word, Internet Browsing, E-mails, etc., then HP Pavilion x360 convertible laptop is a very good choice. The elegant design and its portable and compact nature make it a good candidate for those who want to carry their laptops to different places. However, if performance is the priority, then I would personally not recommend HP Pavilion x360 convertible laptop to you. Gamers and Developers should not opt for this laptop.
